Website privacy notice
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Who is responsible for your data
Virtual Bodyworks S.L. (trading as Kiin), Avenida Cabrera 36, 08302 Mataró, Barcelona, Spain. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@kiin.tech.
This notice covers this website. The Kiin VR app has its own notice, which you can read here.
What we collect, and why
When you ask for a demo
The form asks for your name, your work email, your organisation and your role. We also record which page you sent it from. We use this to reply to you and to arrange the demo. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering a request you made, and taking steps before a contract at your request.
We do not add you to a mailing list.
When you book a call
The booking link opens a HubSpot scheduling page. HubSpot collects the name and email you enter and the time you choose, so that the meeting can be set up.
Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, which area they choose on the start page and which answer they pick in a scenario. IP addresses are shortened. Nothing is used for advertising. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded. The legal basis is your consent.
Your answers in a scenario are not stored against your name or email. They are counted in Google Analytics only if you have accepted the banner.
What is kept in your browser
- Your answer to the cookie banner.
- The area you last chose on the start page, so it can be shown first next time.
- The language you chose with the switch in the top corner (a cookie called kiin_lang, kept for one year).
- For visitors sent to the Chile page, a cookie that remembers if you chose the English site (kiin_geo, kept for one year).
These are needed for the site to work as you chose, and are not used to track you. You can clear them in your browser settings.
The short simulations on this site
The phone simulations you can open from this site (The House Chat and Off Label) run in your browser. They do not ask for your name or email, and your answers are not sent to us.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address to deliver the page and keeps short-lived server logs. We use the country taken from your IP address to show the site in Spanish first to visitors in Spanish-speaking countries, and the Chile page to visitors in Chile. We do not store it.
Who receives your data
- HubSpot, which stores demo requests and bookings in its EU data centre.
- Google, for analytics, if you accept the banner.
- Vercel, which hosts the site.
Google and Vercel may process data outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, ask us to restrict it, or ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser and declining the banner. Write to privacy@kiin.tech. We reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es) or, in the United Kingdom, to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top.
